One sad note in this otherwise net-positive new year experience: Prof. Larry Solum is surrendering his blog into other hands. I have seriously enjoyed Professor Solum's work. It has made me a marginally better lawyer, and a much wiser man. Now I will have to do my own jurisprudential research, and this makes me sad.

Still, I have nothing but the greatest respect for Professor Solum and the fine job he has done with his blog. He's set a standard that's difficult for blawggers to meet.
