When I was about 13 or so, my family went on a New England trip, to see all the historical and cultural high spots. Naturally, we went to Newport to see how the rich people live.

It's easy to avoid driving through West Virginia. Just go through Breezewood, the Land of Motels, and the unsightly underground coal fires of Silent Hill can be avoided.

How did you manage not to at least DRIVE THROUGH West Virginia? Did you purposely take the long way, you Yankee-bred, Southern-livin' aristocrat?
